Business/Sales Development Representative (part-time with full time potential)

Compensation: $20 per hour + commission

Digital Music News is looking for a driven, self-motivated Business/Sales Development Representative to join our team. We’ve had significant transformation over the past 10 years and are now focused on expanding the team. If you’re ready to grow with us and help push our company to the next level, we want to hear from you. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify potential clients who would benefit from advertising to our targeted readership. 
  • Develop and manage relationships with companies, showcasing the value of our platform. 
  • Generate, track, and maintain a leads list. 
  • Basic email and MS Office skills.
  • Extremely strong communication skills.
  • Persuasiveness, persistence, and thick skin for dealing with rejection. 
  • Assist in driving new business opportunities and sales. 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Self-motivated, tenacious individual who doesn’t take no for an answer.
  • Strong social skills, with the ability to network and communicate effectively.
  • A go-getter with a passion for sales and business development. 
  • Able to manage multiple email inboxes (a plus but not required).
  • No educational requirements.
  • Passion for the music industry and advertising is a big plus.
