Once the elections for the speaker are held Ashraf would swear in the newly-elected custodian of the House.

Today’s session
As the session began, PTI leader Omar Ayub Khan expressed his views on the point of order, saying “foreigners” were present in the house.
“Those were the people who got a fake mandate to enter the house, hence, they should be expelled,” he said, adding that “prisoner number 804 should be brought to the house’s seat”.
The speaker said those were the honourable members of the house who were notified by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and if he had any problem, he should approach the electoral body or court.
The SIC members got up from their seats and stood before the speaker’s dice.

After this, Speaker Ashraf directed the NA secretary to say the names of the lawmakers in alphabetical order and invite them to vote.
