Hamza stresses economic agenda presentation whichever party forms next govt
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) Vice President Hamza Shehbaz has said whichever political party comes to power after the elections, it must present an economic agenda to steer the country out of the financial crisis.
Talking to the media in Misri Shah on Sunday, Hamza said the economic agenda should get constitutional protection for at least 10 years so that the economic direction of Pakistan could be determined and reforms made. Hamza promised that under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, the PMLN would revive the economy and give relief to people, if given another chance in upcoming general election. He said all the political parties should be united on one agenda of reviving the economy. The PMLN leader said the common man could get relief only when the wheel of economy moves. He also said that if he gets another chance, he would fix the situation in the country. He said the requirements of a level playing field are different, if someone has stolen the nation’s money, he should be held accountable. “Political parties have the right to play a role in the political field.” Hamza said the cases against Nawaz Sharif were false, it was a revenge action. “If Allah wills, we will get rid of all the false cases,” he added. Hamza Shehbaz said ceasefire should be announced in Palestine and oppression in Palestine should be stopped immediately.
