CM clarifies issue of SPD’s NOC for Malir Expressway
A handout was issued after a visit of Sindh Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar to the Malir Expressway on November 1.
The press release stated that due to some impediments such as K-Electric and Yellow Line interventions and SPD (Strategic Plans Division), the work could not commence on the elevated structure as planned on the Malir Expressway’s site. In addition, it was stated that the SPD, despite an NOC from the Ministry of Defence, is not allowing the work, even though the elevated structure is at a safe distance.
