Namukwaya gave birth to a boy and a girl at Women’s Hospital International and Fertility Centre in Uganda. This Saturday, she happily took her new babies home from the hospital.

Namukwaya chose the names Shakira Babiyre Nabagala for her daughter and Kato Shafique Kangave for her son, according to the local media.

Babiyre and Kato, the twins, have brought a new level of respect for Namukwaya and her husband in their village. She will now be called Nalongo, meaning mother of twins, while her husband, Walusimbi Badru, will be called Salongo, meaning father of twins.

The twins were born on Wednesday, November 29th.
