Abbey Road Studios has just announced three new company signups to its Abbey Road Red’s music-tech startup incubation program. They are Scored, Qrates, and The Audio Hunt.

For those who may not know what Abbey Road Red is, it’s the studios’ open innovation department tailor-made to support the endeavors of top music tech entrepreneurs, researchers, and developers. For start-ups, they run Europe’s only music tech specific incubator program, granting new music tech start-ups the opportunity to access Abbey Road and Universal Music’s expertise and facilities. For researchers and developers, they work with only the best minds in music tech development and academic research in order to investigate early stage emerging technologies and help co-developer new products.

Scored is a next-gen music library and film scoring app which gives filmmakers the control so that they can shape their music in real-time in order to better suit their productions. You can sign up for their upcoming Beta launch in 2017 with your email address on their site.

Qrates allows users to take pre-orders or start pressing vinyl records on-demand. It uses a crowdfunding platform for vinyl production. It provides shipping worldwide in about 6 to 8 weeks. There are currently several vinyl projects on its site that have yet to be completed.

The Audio Hunt allows you to send your audio files or MIDIs for analog processing from wherever you are in the world. It’s an online global marketplace which connects music makers to rare equipment and services. You can hunt by category or check out their Featured Listings.

These three companies join Red for six months of mentorship, support, and collaboration under the guidance of the Studios’ expert team.

Today also marks the graduation for its first wave of companies who joined back in March 2016 for its six-month program. The companies that graduated are OSSIC, CloudBounce, and Uberchord.

For start-ups and entrepreneurs, Abbey Road Studios is currently accepting applications for its March 2017 incubation program. You can apply for the program here or check out the PDF for more information on the program here.
