I can quite assure DMN that it ain’t sitting too well with songwriters and composers either, particularly those whose administrators had a strong hand in negotiating the underlying deal in the Phonorecords IV proceedings before the US Copyright Ryalty Board, and even more so those music creators that could not afford the staggering costs to participate in that proceeding at all. This system is broken, and it needs fixing before it destroys the ability of songwriters and composers to earn even modest livings at their craft.

It’s time to exclude major publishers, who often do not acknowledge composers. What do you think?
