Seven-year BPI chair Ged Doherty is stepping down to focus on his film company, and “a process of recruitment is now underway” for his successor.

The Association of Independent Music Publishers’ Los Angeles, New York, and Nashville Young Professional Committees have named Ashley Morey, director of client services for Harry Fox/Rumblefish, chair of the national Young Professional Committee.
Warner Music Latina
Former Sebastian Yatra manager Roberto Andrade Dirak has become managing director of Warner Music Latina (WML). Additionally, more than 17-year WMG veteran Ruben Abraham has been elevated to SVP of marketing and artist strategy, and five-year WML team member Hector Rivera is now SVP of A&R for Latin music.

Global has enlisted former Media.Monks higher-up Ryan Ladisa to serve as DAX’s VP of sales for Canada.
YMU
YMU has promoted former Universal Music and Warner Music exec Anthony Rodol to managing director for U.S. music.
Downtown Music Services
Downtown’s UK division has hired Sandra Croft (formerly with CD Baby) as marketing manager, and Chelsey Blow (formerly with Sentric Music) has joined the company’s client-services team.
Warner Music Group
Kabiru Bello, who signed on with Warner Music Sweden in 2017, has been named VP of global A&R for Warner Recorded Music. He will also remain head of Asylum Records Nordics.
Plus, Warner Music Turkey general manager Gülce Özyeşilpınar is set to simultaneously serve in the newly established role of VP of marketing for Eastern Mediterranean, handling the major label’s promotional initiatives in Cyprus, Greece, and Israel.

ONErpm has hired former Ticketmaster and UMG Nashville team member Amy Jackson Moore as senior product manager for country.
You would think the people who are the most important element in the music business, THE MUSICIANS would make the most money. Not these middle men/ executives. When will the musicians stand up for their rights and DO SOMETHING in order to get their FAIR SHARE of the revenues? But they are all too busy recording new songs for Spotify and Youtube, LOL!!
