Create Music Group acquires Music for Pets, the pioneer in pet entertainment, with more than 12 million hours of music created for cats and dogs, with $10 million in future investment planned.
Create Music Group has announced the acquisition of Music for Pets, an internationally recognized company that creates music and games for dogs and cats. Founded by Amman Ahmed and Ricardo Henriquez in 2017, Music for Pets’ “Relax My Dog” and “Relax My Cat” series provide more than 12 million hours of music each month to more than 20 million pets worldwide.

With just $1,000 of his savings, the Manchester-based Ahmed started the company with Henriquez, who was inspired by his dog’s anxiety due to violent noises in his El Salvador neighborhood and had begun composing music designed to soothe pets.
Their approach to meeting pets’ unique needs quickly gained traction, and their original music has become a favorite for pets and their owners on YouTube, Spotify, and other DSPs worldwide.
The company’s research shows that 87% of dog owners report that their pets are less stressed after being exposed to Relax My Dog’s content — something useful for dog owners this 4th of July weekend. The company will be featuring special content on its YouTube channel throughout the holiday in the United States.

Create Music Group plans on investing an additional $10 million to further expand Music for Pets’ reach and impact on pets and their owners over the next 36 months.
